I was a former Diabetes sufferer for 35 years. Now I'm an advocate for Diabetes and CKD prevention. And I'm on a mission to help others avoid the unfortunate path I had with this Dis-ease.

This is my story...

Diabetes stealthily damaged my body for more than three and a half decades. Initially, the signs were subtle – occasional high blood sugar readings and bouts of tiredness – nothing that seemed particularly concerning.

However, as time progressed, the consequences became impossible to ignore. My blood pressure escalated, an unrelenting result of my uncontrolled glucose levels and the strain it imposed on my vital organs. Then I went partially blind in both eyes, developed heart disease, had amputation on my right foot, and suffered a mild stroke. And then the final blow and most severe setback arrived: End-Stage Kidney Failure.

I now find myself connected to a Dialysis machine 3 days a week, with my entire routine revolving around treatments that serve as a constant reminder of Diabetes impact. Each session sometimes leaves me drained, and on certain days, I question whether I will ever fully reclaim my health.

But amidst the struggle, I found hope. I discovered tools, products, and lifestyle changes that helped me gain control over this disease more effectively. These were not just about blood sugar control but about reclaiming my life. By adopting better habits, supported by innovative solutions, I began to see changes. My energy improved, my blood sugar stabilized, and I felt stronger.
